Facilities
and Services
Everything under one roof
A large building allows the space for many facilities
and services. This is a fact in the case of the Van
Nelle Design Factory.
The most eye-catching is the “Roastery”.
Where in the past the harsh coffee beans were burned,
there now still hangs the fragrance of coffee. However
now they are freshly made in several varieties: cappuccino,
espresso, café au lait…whatever you wish.
The Roastery is the heart of the Van Nelle Design Factory.
Here tenants and visitors find each other. All kinds
of small sitting areas lend themselves very well for
a short discussion of progress or a conversation with
a customer or colleague. Over lunchtime the Roastery
is the central lunch spot where one can find space at
the longest lunch table in Europe. Bread, soup and snacks,
dairy and fresh fruit; the lunch assortment is varied.
Press, Print and Presentation
If you need print work or copying, then you need look
no farther than the Van Nelle Design Factory. In addition,
from the Roastery you can easily access one of the many
meeting and presentation areas, which can occupy from
4 to a maximum of 100 people. Beamers, flip-overs, video
projection, sound installation, Internet connections,
or building a computer network for presentation, training
or workshop; it can all be arranged for your convenience..
Central Postbox
Central in the Roastery, is the beautifully designed
post-boxes. Companies that reside here never have to
go to the Post Office again to retrieve their mail.
TPG post delivers daily letters and parcels. To send
post is even less of a problem; you simply give your
post to the gatekeeper at the end of the working day
and that’s all there is to it.
Telephone and Data Traffic
Each office Unit has been connected to an extremely
sophisticated telephone and data network. Accessibility
has been guaranteed even in the event of a power fluctuation.
More than 4 kilometers of glass fibre cable ensures
super-fast data transfer, which you can buy to your
requirements (and per day). This varies from 10 to 1000
Mb per second. In the last case you can download the
contents of one complete DVD within a second.
